an episode called “The Shower” from the 1974 sitcom Rhoda was cut into 6 foot loops and altered in order to re-edit a tired story of the heteronormative bridal shower. the loops were selected and projected out the kitchen window or into the stove by the artist while tea and cake was served.
created for the Capture Photography Festival in Vancouver.
Loopdaloop was an Iris Film Collective exhibition during the Capture Photography Festival where collective members took on 3 nights each in the month of April to create their own unique installation.
images were printed of selected frames from the loops
the photographic prints where displayed during the installation
