an exploration into the concept of post-apocalypse and/or the last person on earth. what if that person were female?

we filmed collaboratively and intuitively, watching as a solo female protagonist moves through her new reality. 

the soundscape is purposely edited separately and then combined with the film after both components are completed. 

this incongruous way of building ‘story’ is reflecting the need to break free of social & political systems that are holding us all back. 

we were inspired by the surrealist film work of Maya Deren, the do-it-yourself attitude of Rosie the Riveter with a pinch of vaudeville.
