Artist in Residence Lisa g Nielsen with Artist Intern Ariel Kirk-Gushowaty collected personal stories with the community.
Ariel and I made a storytelling station within the community center on certain days and met so many people, we also working with the center to outreach to specific groups like youth and elder programs. Kerrisdale Senior centre offers an amazing lunch program that sometimes had entertainment! Also Ariel and I continue to work as founding members of the Iris Film Collective.
